Well, the theory that christ was married with Magdalena, is a rather old one, i have been earing about it for almost 20 years now...But the DaVinci code just had all the fame for that.
As for them beeing...well, that other theorie is derived from a suposed group of religious guys, in wich Christ was supposed to be a member, and they practiced...in order for them not to be tempted by feminin "mind tricks"...
This could become a topic on its hown, but i truly believe it would be a interesting issues do debate...

I was in a philosofical mood yesterday, and i was giving some toughts about the force.
Let me see if I can make my ideas come out clear in english...
The Jedi´s say that they should be one with the living force.
But the living force must be a name for the entire whole of the force, not only a part of it.
If the jedi only use the "light" side of the force, why do they call it the living force ?
As oposite, the sith use the dark ( no " this time) side of the force!
Is it the dark side, the "dead" side, as opposing the living force?
But there cannot be such a thing as a "dead force"...
And, it is well known that only the sith can use "both" sides of the force... so that leads to a problem...
Are the sith the only ones to use the full range of the force? The living force ?
Are the jedi just trying to fool people around when they give shades to the force and in the end its only one single united force, and the only true yelders of it are the sith ? And that they can only use a part of it !
Am I making a storm on a glass of water, or just made a philosofical breaktrough ?

Any insights on this...

Azazel... You are playing with words here, the thing about "dead force" is nothing.
Sith do not use the full power of the Force, they only use a wider aspect of it.
I am seeing Jedi (even in this forum) and trying to understand why any of them still left in the Universe, even after claiming the Dark Side wider?
Does it mean that a narrow "light side" can be a good competition to the wide Dark Side?
Do they gain some extasy the Dark side cannot give them? Maybe Master Thompson can explain us his ways?
Do the sides have to compete at all?

first of all my compliments to master thompson and azazel, there is much wisdom in you both. Second i read the bible and although i have a long ways to go (ive read about 600 pages) i have come to one conclusion.
We all know that priests preach against gay people and say that God believe them to be evil. This is a half truth since God actually say that to moses, however throughout the course there have been people who i would se as gay and God has been on their side.
For example in the 2nd Samuelsbook 2 men named Jonathan and David have a secret relationship, they often kiss very passionet (i know this was not a clear gay sign at that age but still) and they speak of a love for eachother that knows no bounds. I just think the theory that Jesus and his followers would be very intimate isnt that crazy. Maybe im totally out of line but i had to say it....

Ragnos...I don't understand your question. Are you asking me if I personally get some Dark Side appeasment by being a member of this forum? If so I can say I absolutely I do, yes! For me, being a part of this forum let's me expell Dark Side topics and emotions, when this forum isn't serving as a "Dark Side Waist Depository" (I say that with jest all,) then I am dueling with those in an effort to reinforce my Light Side convictions.

The problem with the Sith of the Real World will be those like you. Grow up...seriously, dude. I have come to know many of the Sith on this forum and they are completely dedicated to the ideology and essence of the Dark Side but in a real world construct. "Why there are Jedi left in the Universe even after claiming the Dark Side wider?" What does that mean? Do I believe the Dark Side is "wider" than the Light side? Unfortunately yes i do...the Dark Side in the real world is ABSOLUTELY STRONGER AND MORE PRONOUNCED in the real world, the world is evil today. No question about it!

The Dark Side is stronger yup it is...but I am not a Dark Sider. Ragnos I am still confused, I don't know what your point is. Please try to elaborate and leave the role-playing out if you can please.

Historicaly, only in the last 300 years has homosexuality been openly fought, at least in europe.
The romans and the greeks, in the classic period, liked to have theyre fun with litlle boys, and in India the eunucs are still existing openly.
Not too long ago, in central europe, priests kept well hiden relations with litlle boys also " because they woulndt get preagnant".

ive always held a great deal of respect for the jedi and their way although i believe they cripple themselves by controling some of their very human emotions. however from what ive seen so far thompson has made great points and holds wisdom so if i would look at this from a role-playing construct id say he be one of those jedi who is tuff too outmanouver, like obi-wan:twisted:
