Due to some issue's with the forum we had to temporarily take it down, apologies for the inconvenience but everything is back up and should be problem free.
If however you have any problem's with any parts of the site please let us know..
Changes include:
new accounts no longer have to be admin approved for now
Added an 'Infractions' system - get warned 3 times or tot up 15 points for a 7 day ban
changes to registration to hopefully reduce spam/bot registrants
new antispam scanning software - currently in beta stage
Various antispam-style technologies, which judging from the last 24 hours work well
Additional features for all users
and more coming as worthwhile ones are found
Note: we will shortly be upgrading again to vB4 (currently running 3.8), you will not need to re-register.
Please do not complain about the advertising. It is there to try to offset the various running costs of the forums and site in general.
On a final note (for now), the portal/CMS is finally working again, and running here (http://forum.sithnet.net/index.php).
