I read that the home world of Xizor´s was almost wiped out because lord Vader had to stop the "leaking" from a empire´s biotech weapons facilities.
What kind of weapons are those?
Are they usable in the fight against the rebels ?

You bring up an interesting point..
unfortunately however, the little peice you brought to our attention, afaik is all thats known, its mentioned in the shadows of the empire novelization, but it goes into no more detail than you did above :(
I would consider it extremely likely that these weapons were intended for eventual use on rebellion-controlled systems however
