SithNet Forum Rules:
This document is intended to clarify the forum rules. These may be subject to periodic changes.
All new user accounts are temporarily under moderation - new users will not be able to post until the account is approved by an administrator. this is a temporary measure aimed at reducing the amount of spam postings/registrations.
Account Activity:
Accounts that go unused for periods of six month (180 days) or more will be removed without warning.
Any accounts which are registered but not activated within 7 days of the date of registration will be removed
Posting:
This is an English-language forum. Please keep all discussions in English, as not all of us can speak/understand a second language. If you dont speak english, feel free to find a translation site.
'Controversial' Opinions: In general, such opinions may be acceptable, depending entirely of course on what the specific opinion may be. Dishonest agreements put forward in support of such an opinion in not accpetable behaviour.
Spamming: due to several recent incidents of inappropriate content and unsolicited advertising, the posting of any kind of advertisement for anything or any inappropriate content results in immediate thread/post deletion and a permanent ban, no warning will be given.. pointless or meaningless +1 posts may be deleted at administrative discretion.
Please keep your thread titles descriptive, and not misleading in any way.
Please do not over use smilies or other images in posts. This is, obviously, a subjective rule..definate over use would be considered as more smileys/images than text, other examples may come down to the judgment of the forum moderators. As a general rule, please try to limit yourself to 5 (?) smileys/images per post.Administrative Rules:
If you have a problem with a member, your first point of contact should be a moderator of the specific forum in which the alleged offense took place. Your complaint should also include a reference to the rule(s) you feel may have been ignored in this instance.
Harassment of any kind is unacceptable
Abuse, or hostile attitudes towards any member, or staff is unacceptable behaviour, and will not be tolerated.
Accounts must be active for 4 weeks/ 28 days before being able to post links.

All avatars are limited to a maximum of 167x137 pixels.
Because custom/offsite avatars are for some reason not checked for such requirements, they have been disabled. If you have an avatar you wish to use on this site, email it to forum@sithnet.net or forums@sithnet.co.uk. It may take a week or longer for the avatar to be made available after receipt of email however.
Signatures should be limited in their size.As a general rule, any image contained within your sig cannot be larger than 500x100 pixels (and you would only be allowed one image of such size), and ideally contain no more than 4-5 lines of text.
Sock-Puppet/ Multiple accounts: You may only have one account per person. No exceptions will be made.Other:
