Hi there, Darth Shady. Very true. This board has its slow times and its busy times. I, for one, have not been near my computer much as I have been dealing with regular life.

Hello Darth Shady. I have been buisy with Darth real life as well. I also had to wait till my anger cooled. Nothing to do with this board. Any continued delay will be due to haveing to hire a geek to fix my computer. I also need this geek to fix the reason that when I call up this site it loads as slow as dial-up. Every other site comes up instantaniously but this one. I do not have the computer savy to know why this site would be differant than everyone else. So if I am gone longer than thought it is because I can not solve my computer problem. Times like this (computer wise) I feel like telling Empress Palpatine to take my computer outside in the yard. I get shot gun. I shout "Pull" the Empress then throws the computer as high in the air as she can. Then, Blam! I shoot the Double barrel shotgun. The computer falls in a million peices to the ground.

Perhaps you should learn more about computers, you know knowledge is power.

I, too, would like more interaction on this site, but I am concerned about the trade-off: the excessive amount of inane chatter similar to that over at AshlaKnights (which is one reason I won't join that site. The other is I'd probably get kicked off).

I am a Sith Lord. I like being controversial. I live for intelligent debate.

Now, I'm venting--What I can't tolerate is people who feel they need to reply to every thread whether they know what they are talking about or not. Tonight, I was at AshlaKnights and got ticked off at someone spouting a Christian theological misconception as fact. Perhaps I wouldn't have gotten so ticked had I not just written on the subject (literally, finished it last night).

I know what you mean....There is a lot that is lame on some sites. I have taken some time off from online Sith activity in order to regain perspective. Too much sticky soap opera. A smart Sith does not waste time.

1. How fast is this computer.
2. how much memory (RAM)
3. How big is the harddrive
4. Which operating system. (Avoid windows ME and windowsXP)
5. Do you get any errors at all, if so please send them to me VERBATIM.


if you answer these questions, I MIGHT be able to guide you, but you should learn to fix these things yourself. Thats how you start becoming technical.

1. How fast is this computer. I have Fois the fastest internet service to date. My computer is a Sony Vio, which is known as a good system. When I go on every other web site it takes only seconds to load. Here for some reason it acts like dial up.

2. how much memory (RAM) 1 giggabite.

3. How big is the harddrive? 13 giggabites in disk "C" 44 giggabites in disk "D" a total of 57 giggabites. It is a laptop with some home station capabilities.

4. Which operating system. (Avoid windows ME and windowsXP) Too late my computer came with windows XP. I got it in 2004 so that is a little late.

5. Do you get any errors at all, if so please send them to me VERBATIM. I get no errors. It is just REAL slow in downloading this site.

I am starting to take lessons on how the computer works. I am considering hireing a geek to teach me personally like the way one takes piano lessons.

I have tried to do my own trouble shooting. That is why I need to pay a geek to fix my computer because I tried my best to solve my troubles myself but goofed. Now I have twice the mess to fix. That is how I nuked my outlook express. I can only look at my E-mails online. So I did have the guts to try but being to green I nuked it.

I hope that we can get more interaction on this site. I can understand why you do not want lots of lame chatter. A little is ok for some people to get warmed up.

I too am very controversial. Some sites I no longer attend due to censorship of the site. This is true in both camps. The Jedi are not the only sites that have centorship. There are Sith sites that say you must be only one kind of Sith and that is defined by them. I no longer go to those sites. Some sites insist that you must be a survival of the fittest republican Sith like that of Xanatos. I am a balance Sith like Palpatine which puts me at odds with the Sith that insist that only there way is right. Since in the Star Wars universe both kinds exist than in real life both kinds of Sith should exist.

I doubt very much that your access speed to this page is slow due to your computer. Instead, I think that the path you take from your isp, to this page, has a slow link.


Can you describe any other problems with your computer?

I will need time to think how to describe it. I know I need general cleaning due to age of my computer. Some regestry troubles. Desk top needs some cleaning to name a few. I have not yet made my whole list out.
