Due to my new descovery I now need to ask the question; Where do I go from here as a Sith? What next? I am aware that the people on this site like Darth Devious and others have posted knowledgable stuff on technology and other scientific stuff. So here I am asking anyone who wishes to teach me. Now that I know that I can never obtain the ability to do the Vader choke:( the 60 dallor question is now what? as a Sith. Where do I go from here? Do I start trying to build something in my garage to get Sith power with the use of technology? Any suggestions.
Mrs Vader,
I think your dimuishing the whole of the sith into only two things, technology and "power".
To me, thats is a wrong point of view.
First of all, lets look at the facts.
Technologie... all very good and nice, but, as in everything else, if you come up with a better ( for example) tank, someone next door will be developing a better anti-tank missile, so, technology is not the answer to all our wishes.
"power"...death choke looks nica and all, and i confess i would love to develop that technique, but...what about everything else?
You cant simply choke to death everyone that comes in your way, leaving us what, to me, is the real ultimate Sith main caracteristic - Cunning.
If you think about it right, Palpatine didnt rose to power by dead choking everyone, but by cunning, manipuilation and other goodies that are , indeed, into the reach of each and everyone of us, who, has the gutts and the will to use them.
So, and in answering your question ( and luckily starting a new trend), start "fighting your war" with cunning. Read some nice books on politics, dust out your Machiavelli " Il Principe" and sun tsu´s "art of war", mix them all togueder and make a all new basis in live, still guided by the Sith motto of "power", but on more earth-to-earth basis.
In other words, create your hown way.

Thank you Azzazel. That is good Sith advice.

Ill second azazel, to some extend.
but remember, that technology can be used to simulate, and produce the same effect, as magical powers. this is especially true with radio technologies.
Your right Darth Devious.
If one is to combine technology to aid the getting of the upper hand ( by tapping into the opponents ideas), then its the best of two worlds.

Being Sith requires more than manipulating others or technology. While I agree that both are important - you must find yourself before attempting to control either.
I give you a quote: "Knowing others is intellegence, knowing yourself is true wisdom. Mastering others is strength, mastering yourself is true power."
While wisdom may not be what some Sith are after - it has been shown over and over with powerful Sith Lords that the more knowledge you possess, the stronger you will become. Darth Bane had to find himself, after he did - he became one of the most powerful Sith.
Find yourself; the rest will follow.
Your right in that, but enbracing the Sith side without knowing yourself is like wanting to ride a nascar car at full speed without even knowing how to ride a byciclet..kinda dangerous.

This is very good advice. This is where you start. Know your self first then try to learn both your science and mystasism(ones that work with the natural order of the universe). The reason for ading ones that work with the laws of nature is because those are the ones that have a chance of really happening.

I have been working on a number of ideas and in my research I have found some good websites
www.psipog.net (http://www.psipog.net/) for Telekinesis, Telepathy (http://www.psipog.net/cat-telepathy.html) and other ESP information.
www.mindcontrol101.com (http://www.mindcontrol101.com/) for controlling others.
This is a good book on the same subject “reed this with an open mind and try them out on your self or on someone with you trust and that trusts you.

know your enemy and know your self and a thousand battles will be yours.

I think once you start the path of being a Sith you have to walk it.
Like you have to learn the lessons of life and grow and learn and gain knowledge and experience and power and wisdom. Over the years with more experience and knowledge you gain power and influence.
I think for starting Sith and those new to the Sith order they should take time to train and build themselves up.
In the Bourne Ultimatium they broke Jason down and then reshaped him into something strong. I think as a Sith you should be broken down and then rebuild.
Those are my thoughts.
