Scarlet O'Hara=Githany?

We just got through watching "Gone With the Wind." Actually, it was mother's pick, but we watched it with her. I had not seen it for years and did not remember it. Does Scarlet O'Hara seem like the character Githany in the Darth Bane book? To me she seemed like a Githany at a different place and time, but the same sort.

Interesting...but Githany was a nothing more than a pit viper thought...can you truly measure the two equally or comparitively?

Like Githany, she was lethal to everyone, even those she got close to. Rhett Butler was treated the way Githany treated Bane. She was sweet one minute and poisonous the next.

Scarlet O'Hara only thought of herself she plotted at every turn. She even married Mr. Kennedy who was supposed to be betroved to her younger sister. Scarlet took the man just so she could get her hooks into his buisness. Then she used white slave labor to get rich. She did not love Ashly just wanted to posses him. All she touched was destroyed by her self absorbed ways. Sounds like Githiny to me. Sirak said that Githiny changed sides too much even for a Sith.
