Greetings one & all. My name is Seti I Shadim. Sith, Alchemist, Necromancer...you know just your run of the mill "I sold my soul to the Devil at the crossroads" kind of guy. I thought I heard some Jedi screaming in here & I do so enjoy quality entertainment! Hohoho.

I happen to notice while watching both the old version of the Ten Commandments and the remake, the name of the son of Ramses the first was Seti. Seti was the father of Ramses the second. Did you choose that name in honor of that particular Egyptian Pharoah? Just thought I would ask.

Hey there! And welcome. I hope that my screaming hasn't been too disturbing. ;) I do so enjoy the posts on this board thus far, however, and am glad to see this resource available to everyone!

Actually you are one of the few who figured that out.:D The "Seti I" is in honor of Seti the first. I also took the name since Seti means "Of Set"- the Egyptian God of Darkness, storms, chaos. and the desert. ( Also the killer of Osiris)
Menmaatre Seti I was a Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt (Nineteenth dynasty of Egypt), the son of Ramesses I and Queen Sitre, and the father of Ramesses II. According to some historians, he reigned between either 1294 BC or 1290 BC to 1279 BC or 1305/1301 BC to 1290 BC, depending on the chronological system used.

I figured it was Set, surprised so few would figure that out! Must be my pagan background.

LOL One would think from your statement that you like the screaming. ;)

- Seti Thank you Seti I Shadim. I at least got part of it . Set sounds cool. Storms, this sounds like Shiva. Is Set simular to Shiva? Is he like my beloved Anakin/ Vader?
