Episode III Game issues

I have had the Episode III Game for awhile now and have slowly moved up through the levels. I am at the point where I am Anakin and have been sent by Palpatine to Mustafar to kill the Trade Federation. I got through their guards and got to the point where I easily killed them; then, on the other side of the door one faces a ship. I went at it for probably 30 or so tries and got nowhere, not even incremental improvement (which can at least can give a clue how to do next time). A hint is given to throw those barrels at the ship, however, I only get at best one or two of those and little damage is done. I'd need a hundred of those barrels probably, and there ain't much chances to sling them between dodging a heat ray, missils, and guards. I keep wondering if there is some secret in the room just before. (After all, that is almost too easy killing unarmed Trade Federation leaders). I'm not so much wanting a "cheat" as a clue. Is there an answer to be found in the room where one easily kills the Trade Federation guys? Is there something to be discovered leading up to that point? Is there something, some secret or other, to be found in the area where the ship is? Do they really expect one to destroy that ship by throwing barrels at it (which seems pretty impossible)? Anything else.

Gee, I have come so far and want to see how it ends.
