My favorite Sith would have to be Exar Kun. He bacame one of the strongest Sith lords and started the Sith War against the Jedi. He also was the first (to my knowledge) to use the double-bladed lightsaber. He also managed to cause Luke Skywalker some major porblems without having a physical body. Truly a Sith to be reckoned with.

I would have to say it is a toss up for me...between Darth Sion and Darth Revan. Darth Revan for the obvious reasons...
Once the hero, then the villian, then redemption (or however you played him..) Darth Sion...pure hate kept that guy together...not but pure hate and rage... that is impressive.
Empress Palpatine

Palpatine of course! He is my favorite! I have pictures of him all over my room. I have his robe and Sith clasp and cane.
He represents the one I long for. In the etherial, he is a representation of the Force. On the astral, he is an aspect of the Force. On the material plane, he is one who would save our planet if he existed.
What would he do with earth? He would plot his way up to the top. He would decieve all the major organized religions. He would decieve capital. He would decieve present governments. Once in power, he would eliminate capital. He would kill off the heads of major corporations in just one night. His new government would then run them. He would dismantle all major religions, allowing only personal practices and small minor religions that do not have political clout. He would wipe out terrorism. He'd simply just demolish Afghanistan and places like that. He would get rid of polluters and stop global warming. He'd have the political will because he would simply wipe out those who do not cooperate. He'd probably solve the overpopulation problem at the same time after he kills off terrorists, criminals, polluters, capitalists, and those who push religious intolerance (which is probably why he could wipe out Afghanistan). There may be room now for trees and animals. He would likely unite the world under one government-his! This would end wars since he would settle things. The Death Star would be seen above in the clouds as a warning not to mess with him.
Me? I'd want to sit right next to him and watch a new green earth grow.

of corse for me it Darth Traya. Did what She needed to do. Didnt matter what other people thought. And she was very skilled in many differnt abilities.
My favorite Sith would have to be Revan. Revan was very good at getting people to follow her, being a leader, and was much smarter than her (I always play a woman when I play kotor) aprentice Malak. Malak wasn't really a strategist in my mind, while Revan was.

My favorite Sith is Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus. Of aristocratic birth, he had style, finesse and grace. Characteristics that seem to be missing from many of the more modern Sith Lords such as Vader, Maul & Palpatine-for example. I also like his classical mastery of Makashi form. I particularly like Kenobi losing so badly to him. lol
"Grand Master Kenobi, you disappoint me.
Yoda holds you in such high esteem.Surely you can do better...? (parries)
No? I'm surprised.
Has Jedi swordsmanship degenerated so quickly, or are you trying to make fun of me? (cuts)
Which is it?
Come, come, Master Kenobi.
Put me out of my misery."

technically i guess... that depends entirely on how you respond in certain elements of the game. Revan was a bloke last time i played :P
As to my favourite character... If you cant guess then im worried. (usewrname and avatar might just be a hint on this one :P )
...and in K2 Revan was possibly one of the easiest fights.

Sidious in the movies and Nihilus in kotor games.
Post here your favorite sith and why you like him/her
Hands down, Darth Vader. He is the pivotal focus of the entire Star Wars saga, son of suns, warrior of the infinite, et cetera, et cetera.
He is also a very passionate, loyal individual whose numerous positive traits and qualities were overlooked by the old Jedi Council out of fear, fear and ignorance which eventually crippled them.

1.Darth Vader
2.Darth Sidious/Palpatine
3.Exar Kun
4.Darth Maul
5.Marka Ragnos
I am surprised that Marka Ragnos took the last place at your list...
Even after His death he was still worshipped by many (meaning MANY) Disciples, who even tried to ressurect him and almost succeed in this task. A warlord of tremendous physical power and frightening grasp of the Dark Side of the Force, He rose to prominence through a series of short, ruthless campaigns against his enemies. Once he gained control of the Sith Empire, he maintained dominance by pitting his detractors against one another, manipulating them into challening him, or simply assassinating them. Among the Sith, Marka Ragnos was feared, obeyed, and admired. He could crush anything and everybody if he willed to...

Id have to say Lords Maul and Vader/Anakin. Maul is just pure hate and skill.
Anakins story is such a tragic one since he lost the one he sacrificed all to save and he too is hate skill and above else power.

Darth Sidious, by far, is my favorite character. Why? Because he is cunning,
manipulative, wise, and argueably one of the most powerful beings in the Star Wars
universe.

My favorite are Palpatine, Exar Kun and Admiral Thawn who was not a sith user but a Sith commander.
Palpatine- Just watch the movies...
Exar Kun- Passion, aggression and great leadership skills.
Admiral Thrawn- Urguably the most brillant (military) mind in the Star Wars franchise. Cold calculated, brilliant and ambitious. He could spot weakness and formulate plans long before enemies could start coming up with a plan.

Darth Vader
Mrs. Darth Vader

My faverate charector is Darth Vader. Why else would i pick Mrs. Darth Vader. Vader is my faverate because he is the archangel Shiva the destroyer. As Anakin he is Shiva creator sustainer. As an archangel he can bring me to the Force which is Palpatine and we all merge with Pappatine when we die. I of course will merge with my Loved Vader. Symbolically Vader and Palpatine represent the Sith pair of loyalty and cooperation. These traits though looked down apon in most Sith message board circles, Are essential if you wish to be in power of the Government. In all cases on earth the revolutionary leader that instills loyalty in there cadre is the one who lasts the longest. The one who is too brutal and selfish and who does not balance the light and the dark but only wants total abscence of light as Voldemort in Harry Potter series ends up never getting to power or at best a very short regime. The loyal Vader is representitive of the base on which Palpatine stands. This is the historical materialist side or mundane athiest symbol of the Vader Palpatine combo.
I also fell in love with Darth Vader in Episode II when he was still Anakin. That is when I first felt this loveing but powerfull archangel. In episode III anakin helped me go to the Dark side with him. So I became Mrs. Darth Vader as He became Darth Vader. Vader does have both Love and Hate very strongly. I have enjoyed both with Anakin/ Vader.

My favourite Sithlord is Darth Revan and this is because of following reasons:
- Was very strong in the force.
- Was a brilliant Tactician and Military Genius.
- Was very influential and regarded as a "Hero" by the Republic.
- Was very far-sighted and had one great personality trait called "tolerance" that many other Sithlords lacked.
- Was a prodigy in Light Saber Combat.
- His Robe is coolest.
Darth Traya defines Revan as "Revan was power. Staring in to his eyes was like staring in to the heart of the force. Even then you could see the Jedi he would slay etched on his soul".
Pretty impressive words to define Revan.
Revan is also greatly admired in the novel "Darth Bane: Path of Destruction".
3000 years later Darth Bane discovered the holocron of Darth Revan and he considered to be the best one and learned many secrets of destructive powers from Darth Revan's holocron.
here is a small spoiler:
Partially through the wisdom and Sith philosophy imparted to him by Revan, Bane would acquire the strength, power, and knowledge necessary to reshape the Sith as he saw fit, destroying the Brotherhood of Darkness and establishing the Rule of Two, thus birthing a new incarnation of the Sith Order; one that would go on to topple the Galactic Republic and all but destroy the Jedi Order.
Pretty impressive record for a sithlord.
...and in K2 Revan was possibly one of the easiest fights.
What can we expect from a Holocronic version or Revan?
If real Revan would have encountered Jedi Exile and then the precious Jedi Exile would be history.
It does matter Revan sucks any way.
I am surprised by this comment and but of-course you are entitled to your opinion. Still you cannot just easily say that "Revan Sucks".

Darth Maul is my favorite... he left an awesome impression on me in The Phontom Menace. His appearance was magnificent, his lightsaber skills... breath taking, and how he applied spining kicks into his fighting style... PRICLESS. Although, it wasn't enough to beat Obi-wan, but we all know Lucas had to do what he had to do in order to go with the story in the Star Wars Saga.
It wasn't Obi'Wan that beat Darth Mual it was his own overconfidence. In a standup fight I belive it would have taken Windu or yoda to put him down. His death was my greatest disapointment of the Phantom Menace.

I think I would have to say it is a tie for me between Darth Tyranus, and Darth Sidious, especially the duo of. I think Tyranus was the man, he was a statesman with class, skill, witts, and infinite knowledge. He was very articulate, cultured, refined and was actually a very well mannered gentleman. All that aside he was also a Master Jedi at one time which makes him a little deadlier as a Sith, and a master military commander. Basically he is the total package, and as said earlier he saber style of Makashi is very gracefull, and skilled. Most don't master it for it's difficulty and technicality.
As for Sidious, do I hardly have to explain? Let's see he almost single handedly destroyed the Jedi and took over the republic while masterminding a war that practically eliminated all his enemies and allies leaving only him to rule. He basically tailored the baddest, greatest Sith of all time Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker and was the apprentice of Darth Plagueis who we all know was quite the Sith Lord himself.

Darth Sidious , the greatest.
He brought down the Republic and established the Empire.
He had an entire galaxy in his grasp, his power cannot be denied.
Darth Bane

I have to say Darth Bane.
Not only did he establish the Rule of Two,but he destroyed The Brotherhood of Darkness be giving the Thought Bomb to Lord Kaan (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kaan)
Survived and destroyed a small army of Technobeasts (http://starwars.wikia.com/index.php?title=Technobeasts&redirect=no),his own powerful force lightning, and the Orbelisk infestation on his body
