hmmm... comparisons between the ramient of the lord and vaders helmet are tenuous at best.
And in the biblical story the armor was only symbolic for states of mind and being achieved and used in everyday life.
And as anyone knows, vader became balanced when he removed his helmet. he attained summation, once again melding into the force he once sought to control for ends even he himself was unclear to.
once he removed his armor *or what he could of it anyway* he became whole.
One can also say that it was his attainment of wholeness which allowed him to remove the helmet in light of his resultant death.
